Property as an Asset of Resilience: Rethinking Ownership, Communities and Exclusion Through the Register of Resilience

Abstract This article sets out a new conception of ‘property as an asset resilience’. Building on Fineman’s emphasis ‘webs’ resilience, and applying insights from Actor-Network Theory Resilient Property Theory, we examine how the rhetorical claims asserted by owners non-owners, individually collectively, ways that law recognizes endorses those claims, affect production property-as-resilience. Applying framework, argue ‘embodiment’ ‘embeddedness’ human vulnerability is revealed necessary inevitable relationship have with land, housing place.
